Last week, AcuTech successfully conducted a comprehensive training program on Asset Integrity Management (AIM) at Paradeep Phosphates Ltd. (PPL), Goa Unit. The session covered AIM fundamentals, the connection with other #PSMelements, development of a strong AIM Program to ensure integrity and prevent process safety incidents, identification and management of safety-critical elements, and FMEA methodology. We were pleased to have 24 senior leaders participate from various departments including Operations, Mechanical Maintenance, Instrumentation, Electrical, Civil, Technology & Design, Projects, Fire & Safety, and Procurement. Their enthusiasm and appreciation of the training program’s takeaways and commitment to implementing AIM principles at PPL were truly commendable. We are grateful to Mr. Nilesh Dessai – CMO & Unit Head, PPL and Mr. Govind Lotlikar – DGM, FIR & Safety, PPL for giving AcuTech the opportunity to share our experience and strengthen the asset integrity management efforts undertaken at PPL. The U.S. Department of Homeland Security has designated September 25th as “If You See Something, Say Something®” Awareness Day, also known as #SeeSayDay.” The campaign works to empower and educate the public on the importance of recognizing the signs of suspicious activity and how to report it to local authorities. For “#SeeSayDay 2024,” All members of the public are encouraged to report suspicious activity that may be threat-related or involve targeted violence. On September 25 and year-round, individuals are encouraged to stay prepared, be aware, and report observed behavior that could indicate pre-operational planning related to terrorism, targeted violence, or other related activity. For the campaign to be effective, it is important to be aware of what to look out for. Do your employees know what constitutes suspicious activity? If not, AcuTech’s Security Services Team can provide employee awareness training, assess site emergency procedures & plans, develop crisis management programs, as well as conduct facility security risk assessments.
