Let's talk about why you SHOULD be using a trusted recruiting partner in these times instead of pulling back on using third party assistance to fill your jobs. I have been recruiting in my industry for many many years. I've seen a handful of recessions, a global pandemic and a historic hiring boom in late 2021 and early 2022. In uncertain economic times my repeat clients tend to pull back from using our services and new clients are concerned about paying fees to fill their jobs. But have you considered what it's actually costing you monetarily and emotionally to have those positions go unfilled for long periods of time? It actually could be more cost efficient and an emotional relief to your already stretched too thin teams to use your trusted recruiting partners to get those jobs filled quickly. What are some costs to be considered when leaving a job open? -The money it takes to hire a new employee. -The financial loss of billable hours and production of the open job role. -In some cases, the cost of overtime to cover for the open job. -The cost of temp or freelance workers to cover for the open job.  -The loss of revenue from not having the bandwidth to take on new client projects due to being understaffed. Also very important factors to consider may not be able to be measured such as: -Stress on current staff after the job responsibilities are shifted around, larger workloads leading to potential burn out and a domino effect of employees leaving as a result. (I hear it in my conversations with candidates every. day. ) -Less productivity from current staff because they have to do more work in the same amount of time.  -Client dissatisfaction due to quality of the work, a decline in project turnaround times and team responsiveness. -Overall declining morale from current team members as the job remains open and stress continues to mount. Ultimately, partnering with a specialized recruiting firm can be your most cost effective solution financially and for your team morale and emotional health. If you have any urgent advertising/marketing/media positions to fill at this time, please reach out! sherri@adonetostaff.com
