Located in Broken Bow, Nebraska, Adams Land & Cattle (ALCC) began in 1945 as a small dairy farm on 300 acres east of Broken Bow. Today, ALCC remains family-owned, but has grown into a multi-location operation with finishing lots in Nebraska and more than one-hundred backgrounding locations throughout the US and Canada. Recognized as one of the premier cattle feeding operations in the world, ALCC is a distinguished and innovative leader in agribusiness, providing consistent and quality beef while utilizing best practices to ensure food safety, animal welfare, and environmental stewardship.

  • Earlier this summer, we hosted dietitians, bloggers, chefs and influencers as part of the Beef Experience Tour. Our team enjoyed visiting about the feedyard portion of the production cycle and sharing a tour of our operations.   Thank you to Nebraska Beef Council for including us; we love helping to educate consumers and influencers on how the beef production cycle works!

  • Meet one of our #AdamsInterns…Makenna Dornhoff, from University of Nebraska-Lincoln This summer, Makenna had the opportunity to work in a variety of our cattle operations areas, including feeding, processing and cattle health, as a Cattle Operations Intern! Take a look at what she enjoyed most about her internship: “The people! I have really enjoyed forming relationships with people in all of the different departments. They make learning & doing my job that much easier!”

This summer, Sophie had the opportunity to work in a variety of our cattle operations areas, including feeding, processing and cattle health, as a Cattle Operations Intern! Take a look at what she enjoyed most about her internship. “I am so thankful for the opportunity to be at Adams this summer. The knowledge and experience I have gained is unmatched.   • Last month, Scott Adams hosted Lunch & Learns for our employees, where he shared how we currently use drones, as well as plan to use them throughout our operations for analyzing pen surfaces, farming, commodity piles, pond levels, counting cattle, surveying, as well as project management. Here at Adams, we host Lunch and Learns throughout the year on different topics, presented to the company by an Adams employee. A huge thanks to Scott for sharing your knowledge!
