Meet one of our #AdamsInterns…Keri Smith, from University of Nebraska-Lincoln This summer, Keri had the opportunity to work on our Cattle Health team, as a focus of her pre-veterinary medicine career path! Take a look at what she enjoyed most about her Cattle Health internship. “I have enjoyed getting to work in a different aspect of the beef industry than I am used to. Even though I am working with the same animals, a lot goes into understanding the differences between feeding operations and cow-calf operations. At the end of the day, I'm happy to be working with cattle and making sure that they are healthy and content up to their ship date.”

Our team enjoyed visiting about the feedyard portion of the production cycle and sharing a tour of our operations. Thank you to Nebraska Beef Council for including us; we love helping to educate consumers and influencers on how the beef production cycle works!
