Now that is fast. Here we are integrating a Cognex Corporation IS8000 inline with a splicing machine to inspect the spacing of pads on a continuous moving web of material. The camera is triggered off of machine timing. Display graphics are enabled to give the line operators visual indications immediately if the spacing is good or bad. The HMI was custom built, allowing the user to reprogram: - Different pad formations: 4x4, 3x5, etc. - All tools regions can be resized and activated/deactivated Statistics are being recorded to understand data trends on specific measurements. Our CPT (Cobot Palletizing Tool), shown with Universal Robots, enables multiple carton handling with cobots in every cycle at high speed. The CPT is an example of one of our Custom Line Solutions. The CPT is a smart and compact cobot gripper, allowing customers to get more products out at the same time. Its multi-zone gripper surface picks several boxes even of different shapes in the same cycle, while its lightweight body allows a higher throughput per pick.
