Our Remote Team Does a Whole Weekly Meeting Just to Shout-Out Team Members... Why? Because when you're not in person, it's really hard to have organic moments that make everyone feel good. We're intentional on creating these moment. Every Friday, we do a team meeting where everyone shares "core value shoutouts"... moments where a team member displayed a core value in his or her work. We also have a whole slack channel, where we give "tacos" to each other for crushing our core values. (shoutout to HeyTaco, great slack integration) These meetings are for 3 reasons... 1. Pure Celebration - We cut straight to the cheers. Each meeting is a chance to celebrate wins. 2. Unity - Remote work scatters us geographically... but that doesn't mean we need to feel scattered emotionally. 3. Culture Boost - Regular kudos sessions aren't just fun; they weave our core values of teamwork and excellence into daily life. Bottom line?
