HR Consultant (HR Generalist/Manager) Hybrid - Charlotte, NC Here is an exciting opportunity for you or for a superstar HR Guru that you know! ADEPT HRM Solutions Inc. is a boutique, outsourced human resources consulting company that provides its clients with cost-effective human resource services to help them meet their objectives. By providing them with human resources expertise on an outsourced, full-time, part-time, or project basis, our clients receive solutions for complex human resource issues tailored to their specific needs without the associated costs of an internal hire. The HR Generalist/ Manager (Consultant) will work in a team with a Senior Consultant to provide day-to-day human resource support for assigned clients. This position is hybrid with some remote and some on-site work. Only local candidates will be considered. Must live within reasonable driving distance from Charlotte, NC. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Work with a Sr. HR Consultant or Associate HR Consultant to provide day-to-day human resource support for assigned clients including: Communicate and build effective client relationships. Design and administer Human Resource policies, procedures and programs. Service clients by responding to human resources issues, problems, and questions for multi-state locations. Provide advice on requirements and application of both state and federal employment laws and client policies, as applicable. Assist with the performance review and termination processes. Administer health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations. Write policies and procedures, review and update employee handbooks. Administer clients’ COBRA, ADA, and leave of absence policies. Conduct audits of payroll, benefits, and other HR programs, and recommend corrective actions. Process payroll. Complete required compliance reporting. Other projects, as assigned. Qualifications and Experience: Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook. High attention to detail required. Strong organizational skills including the ability to meet deadlines. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Ability to organize and coordinate multiple activities. Must be able to critically think through and assess situations. Bachelor’s degree and 5 + years’ generalist experience in human resources, or equivalent combination of education and experience. SHRM or HRCI certification preferred. Experience with small and mid-sized companies preferred. SALARY/BENEFITS: The salary range for this position is $55-$70K, DOE.
