Another update on the ARCC Leadership Adirondack Class of 2024-25: on Friday, October 11th the participants had a wonderful classroom session followed by three industry tours. First stop was Adirondack Studios in Argyle, which led the group through a fascinating glimpse of all of the work that goes into creating set & scene designs, art, and installations for attractions all over the world. Next stop was Ideal Dairy in Hudson Falls, where the classmates learned about responsible farming and dairy production. And the last stop was at Argyle Cheese Farmer in Hudson Falls, where they learned how local agriculture influences craft artisans and impacts our community. Plus we heard the cheese was delicious!

We had a few nominees who couldn't make it to our Business Awards a couple of weeks ago, but we wanted to make sure they got their nominee certificates. ARCC Director of Events & Community Engagement Carol Ann Conover & ARCC Membership Manager Ava Kanninen have been hard at work delivering the certificates. Thanks ladies! You may be wondering what the ARCC Leadership Adirondack Class of 2024-25 has been up to, so here's an update: In mid-September the participants had their first classroom session with facilitator Brian Rollo which began with some personal development exercises, team building, and a discussion on their community service projects. More on that soon... In late-September, the participants embarked on their first day of industry tours. First stop was the Stewart's Shops facility in Saratoga Springs where they got to see the magic behind a lot of the fresh, local products that line the shelves of Stewart's Shops locations. Second stop was Glens Falls Hospital featuring a tour of multiple wings and enlightening discussions on the many ways the hospital supports the greater community. We can't wait to see what they get into next!
