  • #FlashbackFriday to last month's 3rd Annual AP Midwest Golf Fore Gratitude event! 🎉 Check out the video for a glimpse of the amazing day we had. From golfing to lawn bowling, everyone had a blast while raising funds for two incredible organizations: Great River Greening and Roger Up. Together, we raised $100,000 to support their missions! We’re already looking ahead to next year, so mark your calendars for September 18, 2025, and get ready to join in the fun and give back!

  • The U.S. construction industry has remained strong despite facing many of the same challenges as other economies around the world in recent years. With The Dodge Momentum Index posting a 31% increase in nonresidential construction planning in 2024 over this time last year, AP remains steadfast in our expansion to new markets, such as Austin and San Antonio in Central Texas. Find out what types of projects we should see more of in the coming year. ⤵️ #APBuilds #CentralTexas #Austin #SanAntonio

  • As part of our profiles recognizing our great team members, we’ve selected Assistant Superintendent, Bryce Bordelon to tell you a few things about AP and his work here. 1️⃣ What’s your favorite AP project and why? My favorite has been the Rockwall County Jail Expansion and Renovation. It was a complex project that helped me to grow in my career. At the start of the project, I was a Project Engineer, and by the end I was an Assistant Superintendent in charge of the 2nd and 3rd phases of the project. 2️⃣ Do you have a favorite AP memory you’d like to share? My favorite memory is when we erected our last tilt wall panel on the Mid Cities Logistics project. In under six months, we went from only having building pads to having concrete poured and all 377 (!!) tilt wall panels erected - with no safety incidents or recordables. 3️⃣ What is the best piece of advice you’ve received and try to live? The best advice I’ve received is to "own it." No matter what you’re overseeing or tracking, always see it to the finish line. If you make a mistake, own that, take ownership in what you are responsible for, and empower those helping you get that goal accomplished. Thanks, Bryce for all of the great work you do! We appreciate you… #APBuilds #APPeople #APTeam

  • When faced with obstacles in construction, which we so often are, AP believes there are always creative solutions to be found. As Will Pender recently shared during a panel on adaptive reuse and conversion projects like Santander Tower in downtown Dallas, our teams work collaboratively with partners to remove roadblocks for positive project outcomes. Learn more about this and other key ingredients to pulling off adaptive reuse projects! ➡️ https://loom.ly/EUhzq4Y #APBuilds #AdaptiveReuse

  • We are thrilled to announce the grand opening of the Hope Academy (Minneapolis) PEI/Allina Space Addition & Renovation Project. AP is honored to have been a part of this $25M project, transforming an existing healthcare clinic and medical office into a state-of-the-art high school and administrative hub in Minneapolis. For over six years, the Adolfson Foundation has been donating time and money to help the school grow and flourish. This is our third project with Hope Academy, a testament to our strong relationship and their trust in us. Our commitment to safety and excellence aligns perfectly with their mission of providing top-notch education. Thank you to Station 19 Architects, Inc for their incredible design collaboration. Here’s to a successful project and many more years of growth and impact. #APBuilds #APCulture #APSafety #APCares

  • What will the Fed’s recent .5 percentage point rate cut mean to the construction industry? Construction Dive polled industry executives who cautiously agree it is a welcome move. Reporter Sebastian Obando reached out to AP Gulf States Region President Will Pender, who says the rate cut is a good first step at bringing developers back to the table with construction start anticipated to likely to ramp up in Q1 or Q2 of 2025.
