(ABH) appoints Deena Tampi as their new Chief Operating Officer. ABH announced today that Deena Tampi has been appointed the new COO of the company. An experienced business leader, Deena will assume responsibilities immediately. Ms. Tampi is an accomplished senior healthcare executive with expertise in leadership, operations, financial oversight, clinical excellence, program growth, and strategic planning. She is the Co-Founder and Managing Principal of Behavioral Health Advisory Group and served as Executive Vice President of Diamond Healthcare Corporation, a national leader in the management and consulting of behavioral health services. Among many honors, she was appointed by Governor Malloy of Connecticut to the Oversight Council for Mental Health. She is a Distinguished Fellow of the American Association for Geriatric Psychiatry, a member of its Board, and Chairperson of its Membership Committee. She has over 60 evidence-based publications and has co-authored and edited five academic text books. “We are ecstatic to have someone as accomplished and energetic as Deena is to lead our operations. She is a clinical pioneer in the field and an incredible human being. Deena will be critical to our success moving forward including operationalizing our new strategic plan, launching our new mission and values and creating a meaningful community impact in partnering with state agencies and clients, said Chad W. Wable, FACHE the President and CEO.” Ms. Tampi received a bachelor of science in nursing degree from College of Mt. Saint Vincent and advanced degrees in Nursing and Business from the University of Phoenix.
