We’re excited to announce that the Science Based Targets initiative has approved ADS’ near-term science-based emissions reduction target. Targets are considered science-based if they align with what the latest climate science says is necessary to limit global warming to 1.5°C above pre-industrial levels. With the SBTi approval, ADS commits to the following science-based targets: ✅ Reduce absolute Scope 1 and 2 GHG emissions 50.4% by fiscal 2032 from a fiscal 2022 base year. ✅ Reduce absolute scope 3 GHG emissions from purchased goods and services 30% within the same timeframe. ADS’ commitment to reduce greenhouse gas emissions supports our vision of advancing quality of life through sustainable solutions to water management challenges. Receiving validation from the Science Based Targets initiative demonstrates the credibility of our commitments and supports our ambition to reduce the environmental impact of our operations.
