Many thanks to AWIN Advisory Board member Jamie Dunham for sharing this spotlight on our work. Jamie is one of several local women leaders who have given their valuable time and guidance as we continue our growth trajectory. We appreciate you! And thanks to the Nashville Business Journal for offering us the chance to answer their questions and focus on women leaders in the workplace. Advancing Women in Nashville

I may be slow on seeing this, but wanted to give some high praise to Eve Hutcherson and Advancing Women in Nashville for creating and sustaining this wonderful organization and for shining a light on women business leaders. Friends Amanda Weeks-Geveden, CWS and Mekesha Montgomery had the foresight and businesses in Nashville caught their vision.

During our sixth annual Summit, we highlighted the importance of creativity, communication, and wellness through our breakout sessions. Marabeth Quin’s “Intuitive Collage” offered attendees the opportunity to embrace creativity and integration through the art of collage. Will Riley's “Communication Code” provided practical tools for attendees to build stronger influence through healthier communication. Tom Larkin’s “Yoga for the New Era Leader” cultivated a restorative experience for attendees in the energizing Titans press box. Thank you, Marabeth, Will, and Tom, for helping to center and inspire our Summit 2024 attendees!

This year’s Summit would not have been possible without the support of our presenting sponsor, U.S. Bank. Thank you to Megan Miller, Jeff O'Bryan, Derek Hamer, Lenore Sprague, and the entire U.S. Bank team for making this year’s Summit one to remember. We value U.S. Bank’s long-standing commitment to advancing women leaders and continued partnership with AWIN.

With four generations working together in today's workplace, how do we bridge the gaps? During last week’s Summit, Sarah Vakili of Skanska kicked off our discussion on multi-generational leadership by first debunking common generational myths. This teed up our panel, where Candace Warner, Ph.D. of people3, Inc. and Allison Pearson of AllianceBernstein joined us to continue the conversation. Our panelists shared insights on the challenges and opportunities of leading across generations, offering strategies to strengthen communication and collaboration. Thank you to our panelists and to Sarah for moderating!
