On October 4, the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) released a proposed rule titled “HHS Notice of Benefit and Payment Parameters (NBPP) for 2026". The NBPP issues standards for insurance companies and the federal and state marketplaces. The proposed rule addresses policies related to PrEP and Hepatitis C drugs, beneficiary cost sharing, enrollment and quality reporting, and requirements for standardized and non-standardized plans.
