Dr. Sandeep Chunduri is a hematologist oncologist at Advocate Condell Medical Center. He’s been practicing for more than 15 years and chose the field of hematology oncology because of the long-term relationships that can be built with patients from day one of diagnosis to all the way through treatment and beyond. Dr. Chunduri focuses on quality-of-life issues, pain management and supportive care measures in addition to treating the cancer. Dr. Chunduri was in attendance for our Real Bears Fans Wear Pink game with the Chicago Bears, honoring breast cancer fighters and survivors. He took to the field during the pre-game ceremony to help unfurl Bear Down Flag on the field with his son. Thank you, Dr. Chunduri, for all you do for our patients!

Ten Advocate Health Care breast cancer patients, their loved ones and care teams from across Illinois were honored and celebrated at our Real Bears Fans Wear Pink game at Soldier Field. This annual event with the Chicago Bears honors breast cancer fighters & survivors and raises awareness for the disease that develops in 1 in 8 women during their lifetime. Patients took to the field before the game to watch warmups, and Dr. Neil Dalal, a hematologist oncologist at Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital, presented the game coin. During halftime, a special bell-ringing ceremony was held for two survivors who recently completed their treatments. Thank you to everyone who came out to help us cheer on the Bears and celebrate #BreastCancerAwarenessMonth!
