Openly was delighted to partner with the esteemed TransTasman Business Council for the final Sydney 2024 Corporate Affairs Leadership Briefing. An important moment to reflect on trust in the Age of Information Overload, ably put by our Founder and Chair Nicholas Booth. A superb event that Tracy has so well described in her post ... just a great opportunity to begin our conversation with corporate Australia about corporate transparency behaviours and integrity as a competitive advantage. See you in the 2025 series! Big thanks to Tracy Jennings and Vanessa Liell for bringing it together and Johnny Weiss and Anna Whitlam for the thoughtful introductions!

Embracing transparency is the foundation of integrity when business deals with government. The Openly Transparency Index© will allow business to benchmark, plan and improve their integrity performance. And that’s good for business: for social licence, risk mitigation, and reputation. But demonstrated integrity, and the trust it brings, is also a competitive advantage. To learn more, or register your interest visit Openly https://lnkd.in/gk7H6e3w

Disclosure and Transparency – moving beyond the compliance mindset. Integrity in public private dealings means trusted outcomes that are free from conflict of interest, improper use of confidential information, inappropriate preference or influence, but also demonstrate better value for all stakeholders, value for money and optimal speed. At Openly, we see transparency as the foundation of this integrity. And this applies from advocacy that shapes the policy landscape, contracting to deliver services to the public on behalf of government, or where publicly funded grants are sought and accepted. Rebuilding public trust has never been more urgent or more needed - but this is a challenge where business can take leadership - if it moves beyond a compliance mindset. The Openly Transparency Index© is a benchmark and a diagnostic, and a way toward demonstrating integrity. To learn more, or register your interest visit Openly https://lnkd.in/gk7H6e3w

When Government and business interact, integrity is vital to achieve trusted outcomes. At Openly, we see transparency as the foundation of integrity. Transparency is a business behaviour, a behaviour that can be measured. That’s why Openly will launch the Openly Transparency Index© soon, to provide a benchmark of the transparency behaviours of Australia’s leading companies, and as a diagnostic and improvement tool for any company that seeks to enhance the integrity with which it operates, secure its social licence, and safeguard its reputation.
