AEDCE is the state’s premier association representing professional and volunteer economic developers and chamber executives in Arkansas. AEDCE Mission Statement: To enhance the professional development of our membership and to advocate for community and economic development benefiting the citizens of Arkansas. AEDCE Objective: To increase the effectiveness of economic developers and chamber professionals in Arkansas by encouraging cooperation, exchange of information, and promotion of professional skills. Membership in AEDCE is available to anyone with an interest in the economic and community development of Arkansas. Our membership covers all parts and aspects of the economic development and chamber industry in Arkansas, from rural to urban areas and everything in between. This allows us to provide a broad array of resources and expertise in the chamber and economic development fields.

Startup Junkie /Conductor, in collaboration with Arkansas Economic Development Commission, is launching a transformative three-year, statewide program to advance entrepreneurship and small business development across Arkansas. The program will have two components - the first aiming to educate, equip and deploy economic developers, chamber executives, community leaders and others as entrepreneurial developers, while providing direct support to small businesses statewide. The second component is focused on professionalizing the ESO community across the state and partnering to create a membership based organization. The program focuses on integrating rural communities into the entrepreneurial ecosystem and strengthening businesses in Arkansas’ target industries. Startup Junkie/Conductor is seeking a dynamic and experienced program director to lead and manage the 75-Strong Program. Learn more about the role and how to apply by visiting aedce.org/careers.
