Just stepped off the stage at ECC in Colorado Springs, and I’m fired up. Trust was the thread running through everything we talked about. It’s what turns ideas into action and action into real-world results. Reflecting on my keynote, one thing is clear: in an industry built on precision and collaboration, trust isn’t optional—it’s everything. This year’s theme, IGNITE, was more than just a word. We didn’t just talk about the future; we lit it up. We sparked new ideas, reignited passion in our teams, and drove collaboration across industries—all anchored in trust. At ECC, I wasn’t just giving a talk—I was challenging all of us to lean into trust, ignite our potential, and shape the future together. WE DID IT AGAIN!!!! #7peat 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆 For the seventh year in a row, The Veritas School of Social Sciences wins the annual summer debate tournament at Harvard University! Elana & Adrienne secured the victory for Veritas with a 10-0 undefeated record!!! This is the third time (2019, 2021, and 2024) out of seven consecutive championships that Veritas has achieved an #undefeated record. And as a rising high school freshman, Adrienne becomes the youngest champion in Veritas & Harvard Debate Council summer tournament history! What was your latest ‘I Made It’ moment? Since beginning my professional speaking career as a teenager, I had heard about what is referred to as the Super Bowl for speakers - also known as MDRT. Having recently returned home from being a mainstage speaker at their annual meeting, I am filled with gratitude and awe for the tremendous experience. It was an immense honor to serve this audience of 8000 attendees from over 50 countries, and having my talk translated into 10 languages. Bravo to the amazing staff and volunteer speaker committee for the remarkable effort and intention that went into making this global event so impactful. Thank you for the privilege of having me on your stage. I knew this event would be special due to the very nature of who was in the room (MDRT members are the top 1% of financial advisors and insurance professionals). Award-winning bilingual author, Jesse Leon, inspired the Region One Education Service Center GEAR UP Building Leadership Initiative (BLI) participants by sharing the journey captured in his book, “I’m Not Broken”/”No Estoy Roto”. Thank you Jesus "Jesse" Leon for powerfully sharing your triumphant journey from surviving human trafficking to graduating from Harvard University. Personally, I cannot believe it took this long for us to meet!   I agree with NPR’s review of Jesus "Jesse" memoir: “Leon's is a powerful, raw chronicle of survival that morphs into a moving story about mentorship, strength, familial love, self-transformation, the power of education, and the importance of self-acceptance."
