Farm Management Software
A turnkey offering for success where others have failed Aerial imagery has enormous potential, yet many companies fail to understand how to use this information to deliver real value for new product development. aerialPLOT has evolved from 5 years of careful method development, proof-of-concept validation, and practical use in agricultural field research. We are now ready to launch the platform to the industry for row crop trials in 2021, offering a step-change in the access of high value information and operational efficiency around data collection and management. Whether you are focused on small plot research to evaluate product efficacy, breeding programs, GMO trait development, or grower-scale farm experiments, don't accept the status quo. We can maximize your investments and equip your agronomists with tools to be successful and focus on actionable rather than anecdotal data.

Come check out aerialPLOT and listen to Jeremiah Roeth, PhD at Nutrien Ag Solutions Selma Innovation Farm. Jeremiah will be talking about our work in almonds and some exciting new approaches to translate digital phenotypes into productive assessments on farm.
If you’re a specialty crop grower in the western US, you may have asked yourself: what’s Nutrien Ag Solutions doing to help me innovate? The answer: come to our Oct 10th field day south of Fresno to find out! Or maybe you haven’t asked that question, because you’re working with an ace Nutrien team and you already know. If this is you, see you and that Ace at our Oct 10th agtech field day! Or maybe you haven’t asked because you didn’t think the question was worth asking. If that’s you: one, do I have news for you, and two, see you at the Inaugural Nutrien Ag Solutions Agtech Expo on Oct 10th! Disclaimer: contact either myself (Gus.skinner@nutrien.com), Richard Mead and/or your friendly neighbourhood Nutrien representative for an invite with location & time details (email preferred, smoke signals & carrier pigeons accepted). Lastly: thanks to all the innovators who are partnering with us to put on this field day! #puttinginnovationtowork #agtech #feedingthefuture

aerialPLOT brings objective data to the forefront of agriculture research.
"It will grow out of it" - The Sage Researcher. "Actually, it won't." - Objective Data. The unique weather this spring has caused this conversation to come up several times. Several people advocated that the early variability just needs some time to 'grow out of it and then it'll be fine'. I argued, without concrete data, that I don't believe that to be true. Since I argued with several of these researchers earlier this year that their plants won't "grow out of it", I thought I better have some data to back it up my statement. So I pulled some data from one of our internal aerialPLOT corn trials that had lots of early variability. I then fed the data from that trial in to some models that we've been working on in corn and left only the early remote sensing parameters that I derived from our software. I then predicted the early yield as compared to the actual yield of the trial. And in this one particular example, we see that the significant variability in the early crop explains the vast majority of the yield response. This model leveraged only the first 50 days of the crops growth and is an exceptional example. I've seen this multiple times in data analysis I've performed for clients, and recently had a conversation with another group of experts in remote sensing that have seen the same thing with even earlier time points. So the next time you're looking at field research and thinking "it'll grow out of it", it most likely will not. It needs to be accounted for in your analysis.
