About us
Aerosport Modeling & Design, Inc. is committed to providing our customers with the highest quality available. We strive to employ the latest technologies to produce working 3D prototype parts and concept appearance models. We dedicate ourselves to meeting or exceeding the needs and expectations of our clients in many disciplines including automotive, medical, electronic, military, aviation, toy, consumer and more. Each year we research and invest in the latest technologies to stay competitive in the marketplace. Since August of 2007 we have been in our custom designed 10,000 square foot facility in Canal Winchester, Ohio. Our state of the art facility has allowed us to grow and add new capabilities to meet our clients’ evolving needs. Give us a call to setup an appointment to take a tour and see our capabilities first hand. We would love to show you around and discuss how we could better help you with any upcoming projects. Aerosport currently has HP’s Multi Jet Fusion, Carbon’s Digital Light Synthesis (DLS) and SLA equipment in-house to produce a wide range of additive manufactured production parts. These technologies will provide you with improved product performance and part quality compared to some traditional methods. The new HP Multi-Jet Fusion technology allows for faster prototyping and short-run production with end-use part material reliability. This production style is considerably faster than the other additive manufacturing options or traditional manufacturing methods, such as injection molding. Aerosport installed Carbon DLS technology early in 2019. There are a wide variety of materials available that can be used for additive Manufacturing and prototypes with the Carbon DLS technology. In addition to producing accurate and high quality prototypes, some dental and medical applications can be mass-produced on SLA equipment. Aerosport operates four SLA machines that will meet your schedule and part geometries with four distinct resins.

Finished products with exceptional quality – this is our top priority when manufacturing your custom parts. There are many ways to deceptively cut costs when producing 3D printed parts. Aerosport Additive avoids these methods, relying instead on what's kept us at the forefront of additive manufacturing technology for nearly three decades: Material Specifications – We only work with the finest resin, plastic, and metal materials on the market. See for yourself by viewing the data sheets on our website or reach out to our sales team for full details. Tolerance Levels – Precision matters, and we adhere to strictest tolerance standards when producing your part - ensuring your part's best fit and optimal performance. Surface Finish – No cutting corners here, either. Our time-tested techniques and cutting-edge finishing processes ensure smooth, high-quality surfaces - which, in turn, represents the quality of your company and its products. A Precision Production Environment – Aerosport Additive is an ISO 9001:2015 certified company, ensuring consistent, high-quality products and services. This rigorous testing process demonstrates our commitment to delivering the absolute highest-quality parts for our customers. Curious? Reach out to one of our team members at any time to learn more about our experience and see why partnering with Aerosport Additive results in quality you can trust. https://lnkd.in/dTvFER4 #3DPrinting #QualityStandards #AdditiveManufacturing #iso90012015 #3DPrintingMaterials

A few years ago, our outstanding office administrator, Pam, found a deer skull in the woods near her house and brought it into the office. We had recently created a latticed human skull on our HP Multi-Jet Fusion printer, and we were anxious to work on another. This time around, we used our FARO laser scanner to create a digital model using CAD software. The CAD program allowed us to spot holes in the design that the scanner couldn't see. We created a solid model between the two that could be printed at any scale. This story is a fun and practical example of how laser scanning can benefit additive manufacturing. Say you have a product you'd like to duplicate but not the CAD model used to create it. Our scanning capabilities allow us to create the model from the physical product, just like we did with the deer skull. Our wide array of capabilities means we can meet most challenges thrown our way. Reach out if our scanning tech can help with your projects! #additivemanufacturing #3Dlaserscanning #CAD
