We are a local chapter of AFCEA International. Our 800+ local membership is a non-profit organization that has helped members advance information technology, communications and electronics capabilities. AFCEA Hawaii provides a forum for the ethical exchange of information between our military, government, industry, and academia communities to collaborate so that technology and strategy align with the needs of these communities. AFCEA is an organization that brings government, industry and academia together to share technical expertise and address community needs; we enable military, government, industry and academic collaboration. AFCEA Hawaii is for anyone in Hawaii with interests in STEM, Cyber, or gaining a better perspective of all levels of government in the Pacific. We welcome all military and professionals in both industry and government, as well as students and their instructors in academia. We aim to facilitate networking and engagement, host informative presentations, develop students and professionals, and give back to the local community and nation. AFCEA is a place to reach out and ask a question, state a need, or offer an idea; it is an approachable, professional environment that feels like Ohana.

The Cyber 'Ike CyberStrike Capture the Flag event welcomed cyber enthusiasts of all skill levels, offering a range of challenges that encouraged participation and learning.
