AGRU America, Inc. reposted this
I had such a great time representing AGRU America, Inc. at AmeriTAC 146! Admittedly, I was a little overwhelmed with information but I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow!
🎁 That's a wrap on AmeriTAC 146! The morning began with project team and development committee meetings where members met to further projects along the pipeline while generating brand-new ideas. In the afternoon, Herbert Jennings kicked things off by providing attendees with insights into HF Corrosion Issues and Common Challenges. Attendees were then treated to the infamous MTI ice cream break before wrapping up the meeting with a demo of the newly released MTI AI tool and three project funding proposals: -Installation Guide for Dual Laminate Pipe -Design, Installation, Maintenance and Inspection of Plastic Lined Pipe -Atlas of Microstructures of Ni-Cr-Mo Alloys To celebrate another successful event, attendees will meet at TP Crockmier's tonight for one last evening of great food and hospitality that Mobile is known for. Thank you to all our speakers and participants this week! We look forward to welcoming everyone to King of Prussia this June at AmeriTAC 147.

Congratulations to the AGRU Charleston team for earning an Industry Impact Award!
Charleston County Economic Development recently hosted its 21st Annual Industry Appreciation Luncheon, an invite-only event held at Trident Technical College. Over 300 industry executives, elected officials, and economic development professionals gathered to celebrate the vital contributions of Charleston County’s existing industries. The program featured the presentation of the 2024 Charleston County Industry Impact Awards, recognizing companies making significant strides in the region. This year's winners included AGRU America, Inc. (Small Business), LANXESS Charleston (Medium Business), SHL Medical (Large Business), and Allegiance Flag Supply (Community Impact). Elias Deeb, CEO of CMMC Navy Yard Industrial Campus, was also recognized as the CCED Ambassador for his outstanding contributions to economic development within the county. A special tribute was paid to Steve Dykes, outgoing Executive Director of CCED, including the presentation of the Lifetime Achievement Award, commemorating his 32 years of leadership. A highlight of the luncheon was a panel discussion on “Cultivating a Culture of Retention,” moderated by Natalie Caula Hauff (Charleston County Public Library) and featuring Matthew D. Hamrick (Mercedes-Benz Vans, LLC (Charleston, SC)) and David Stasiukaitis (Low Country Case & Millwork).
