Short answer: We don’t know exactly how zero-click trends apply to healthcare. But here’s what we do know: ▶ Up to 2/3 of all searches across the web end without a click – increasing engagement on platforms and reducing website traffic. ▶ 7% of all searches are healthcare-related, roughly 70K per minute. That’s more than 1 billion health-related queries each day. But here’s the big question: Does 2/3 of that massive number also end without a click-through? 🤷♀️ Healthcare is different from other industries. When someone searches for health information, their needs, urgency, and behaviors don’t always match typical consumer behavior. That’s why we’re digging into the data to understand how zero-click trends impact health queries specifically. And at which stage of the patient's journey.
