This video is entirely AI generated! Here's how we did it 👇 Besides being fun to use, current AI tools are starting to change our asset creation workflow. Since the quick rise to fame of ChatGPT, we've seen many other tools enter the market. To create the video below, we used ChatGPT (by OpenAI) to generate a prompt for image generator Midjourney. We then gave the generated image to Luma AI's Dream Machine that turned into a 4 second video. We've used the free version to generate this, so the quality is not as good as it could be. However, we see the incredible potential of creating AI-generated marketing assets using workflows like these. Since it's public Beta release last week, we've been testing out Lumalabs' Dream Machine. So far we have seen some great results! Of course there are also some limits. For instance, in this video, the right side of the generated video loses detail compared to the original generated image. Big news! Yesterday Luma AI released their video generator, the Dream Machine, and it's incredibly promising! It's available currently for free, and here's what we think. 👇 Luma AI is strong in both prompt to video and image to video generation. Of course, we've tested this new tool and applied it to the hospitality industry. Below you'll find an example of a 'drone video' we generated based on just one static photo from our client Abbaye des Vaux-de-Cernay. We're impressed with the result! What we think: - Luma AI's Dream Machine generates videos rather quickly. - The Dream Machine generates realistic videos. Our tests show that uploading an image to animate gives better results than starting from scratch. - High-contrast images seem to turn into higher quality videos. - Limiting camera movement seems to result in higher quality videos. - Downloading a video includes a watermark, and we haven't found a way to remove it yet. - Currently we see better video quality from Luma AI's Dream Machine than other tools. All in all, Luma AI's tool has us impressed with the realistic output it generates. Until we'll be able to access Sora (by OpenAI), the Luma AI's Dream Machine is the tool we'll be using!
