We're trying something new! AIA Baltimore is proud to announce the launch of our inaugural "AIA Baltimore Summit." Each year, we will pick a relevant topic, as proposed by our members! This year's topic is sustainability! More specifically, 2030 commitments, decarbonization and net-zero emissions. We're hosting on August 14th, 9am. During the AIA24 Conference on Architecture and Design last week, the AIA Strategic Council hosted a ‘Conversations with the Council’ event at the AIA Booth to engage member voices in their 2024 study group initiatives. This morning, The White House National Climate Adviser Ali Zaidi took to the #AIA24! stage to announce a national definition of a zero emissions building. This national guidance helps settle the moving target that is "zero emissions." It sets a standard and gives us something to aim for and work towards. https://lnkd.in/euaATFT4
