This is a great articulation of what is happening. 🤣 Would be a really great add-on to put in a third avatar sitting on the couch, eating a triple cheeseburger, and saying “meh, let’s wait until we see some more people doing REAL stuff”
🛑 Stop fighting a losing battle and start paying attention to what matters most. The pull of "Random Acts of Technology" is REAL and especially if you find emerging technology interesting it can be very alluring to chase the shiny objects. But... If you don't start with People and Process you will struggle to get adoption and statistically speaking, fail. Nailing down the stats perfectly is subjective in a case like this but McKinsey says that most Digital Transformation failures can be attributed to inadequate management support for the change (33%) and employee resistance (39%). 💬 Raise your hands in the comments if you have ever had this battle with your team or in your own head while trying to resist the urge to implement technology for technology's sake!
