    INTERNATIONAL DESIGN LEADERSHIP SUMMIT..... AIGA San Diego/Tijuana invites you to participate in the International Design Leadership Summit, October 24-26 in San Diego. The Summit will bring together passionate designers and educators from across North America and around the world to share experiences and perspectives. Leaders from a growing list of international educational institutions and design organizations, including International Council of Design (ICoD); The Graphic Artists Guild; AIGA chapters across the U.S.; and Tijuana Design Week will be attending. The powerful ideas of borders, boundaries, and intersections—and how design and designers are inspiring positive change in their communities—will form the thematic core of this vibrant program. We have an inspiring roster of designers, educators, and leaders coming together to share their work and ideas, and more will soon be announced.     San Diego, California and Tijuana, Mexico are the 2024 World Design Capital! This is the first binational designation of the WDC, and San Diego is the first U.S. city ever to receive this prestigious award. As part of the year-long celebration of this honor, AIGA San Diego/Tijuana invites you to participate in the International Design Leadership Summit, October 24-26 in San Diego.     The XXXIV National Design Encounter is a celebration of design. It will include the collaboration of professionals from San Diego, Tijuana and Mexico City specialized in different areas of Design.
