Mission System Monday! Tuition Tool The SAF/FMBMS Tuition Tool (T2) system automates the data entry and approval process for establishing tuition rates for Air Force courses offered to foreign military students. T2 allows users to input both Academic and Flying courses, class information, number of instructors, and base specific information for pricing foreign tuition rates in accordance with the SAF/ FMBMS call for Formal Training Course Tuition Rates guidance. The tool also allows electronic submission of tuition rates from base level through MAJCOM, with final pricing approval by AFSAT/FM. This information is also available to SAF/FMBMS as needed. As the repository of course training, T2 is used specifically for International Partners and to view training and possible registration for those courses as it related to security assistance and to allow training providers and course owners to price training for international students. T2 contain cost factors, such as course/class information, civilian and military pay and benefit costs, instructors costs, inflation factors, flying costs, simulator costs, range costs, munitions costs, mailing fees, academic support costs, base operating support costs, incidental costs, and field studies program (FSP), when applicable. "Cloud One and the SAIC System Developers that work with AFSAT/FM on upgrades or changes to the system that may be required has been the biggest benefit since migration." - Tim Melville, Deputy Division Chief, AFSAT/FMP One of the most under reported benefits of T2 is the “audit trail” it provides for AF Security Cooperation (SC) course costing and validation. The system was hosted within the Global Combat Support System-Air Force (GCSS-AF) Integration Framework (IF) and was migrated to Cloud One Find our more about Cloud One here: https://cloudone.af.mil/#/ #MissionSystemMonday #CloudOne
