Employee Spotlight 🔦 Lawrence Lane – QC Rep Why did you choose Aviation ✈️ as a career? As a child, my dad would take me to the SFO airport to watch the planes. I remember smelling the jet fuel & to this day, that smell brings back those memories. My dad even took me on a helicopter ride once too! That combined with helping my dad work on cars, those experiences really propelled me into aviation. What do you enjoy the most about working for Air Transport International ❤️? I love my job! I love working on aircraft I love & being involved with making them fly & solving issues. I am surrounded by really good people at ATI that make coming to work an absolute pleasure. No companies were really hiring & I was working as a carpet installer but knew I did not want to do that forever. My local school district had an A&P school for minimum cost so I enrolled. Best choice I ever made! Working in the maintenance field has allowed me to travel & work around the world but also work with some of the best & most diverse fellow workers & enjoy some of the best laughs ever.
