Our UH-72A Lakota has flown over 675,000 flight hours and trained over 8,000 Army Aviators at Fort Novosel. The Lakota’s proven performance allows the US Army to fly 40% more hours and train 40% more pilots with 40% fewer aircraft than its predecessor. The Lakota is also the safest training aircraft in Fort Novosel’s history, with zero fatal mishaps. On National #FirstResponders Day, we want to thank those #firefighters, #police, #EMTs, #paramedics, #911 operators, United States Department of Defense #servicemembers, and others, who run towards a crisis and often put their own lives in harm's way. According to the U.S. Department of Homeland Security, there are 4.6 million career and volunteer first responders who support their #local #communities. And there are more than two million military service members who wear the cloth of our #nation. To all of our #FirstResponders - past, present, and future - you have our profound thanks and gratitude at Airbus US Space & Defense, Inc.
