Data is often considered to be impartial and irrefutable; few have the confidence to doubt it, even fewer can constructively argue its source, sample and presentation methodologies. And, we've gotten all too accustomed to justifying established hypothesis or gut feelings - then, later, finding "data" to support it. A better way is to differentiate "problems to solve" as Puzzles or Mysteries. Solving puzzles require data, Deciphering mysteries need finesse. “Puzzles come to satisfying conclusions.
