Thank you Akron-Summit County Public Library for inviting me to host a truly special conversation with Chef Carla Hall. It was an honor to support your 150th anniversary year and thrilling to bring a spirited conversation on so many relevant issues for the food community and beyond. The best thing? My powerful girl gang showed up (thank you all) to hear Carla Hall demonstrate how mid-life women are speaking up, changing the narrative about what’s possible, and showing us what a lifetime of wisdom brings to the spaces we are in.

Schulman, director-writer-producer of the film; Alicia Hopkins, artist and advocate who inspired the Accessibility Library; and Kitrael Chin, director and founder of Hearts for Music Inc. This event is ASL interpreted, free, and open to the public. Parking is free in the Market/High St. Parking deck on weekends.
