Katharina is a perpetual learner of emerging pharmaceuticals, technologies, and treatment approaches.     We are pleased to share that Aktis closed a $175 million Series B financing. The financing was led by RA Capital Management, and co-led by RTW Investments, Janus Henderson Investors, and was joined by a select syndicate of additional new investors, including funds and accounts advised by T.Rowe Price Associates, Inc., Avidity Partners, and an undisclosed life sciences-focused investment fund. Proceeds raised will be used to further advance our radiopharmaceuticals pipeline, including our first-in-class Nectin-4-targeted miniprotein radioconjugate. With her data analysis and problem-solving skills, Julius will work on all aspects of clinical development with a focus on early-phase trials. Outside of work, Julius enjoys reading, hiking, and visiting national parks.   👋 Tatyana Sanders Tatyana Sanders joins as our Administrative Assistant in Research Triangle Park. She brings her stellar administrative experience in finance to the biotechnical industry. As she has recently relocated to Raliegh, NC from New York, she’s very excited about exploring the city and immersing herself in the culture.   👋 Julie E. Pickett, PhD Julie Pickett joins us as a Scientist in the Radiobiology group. Julie’s scientific background in synthetic organic chemistry, small animal PET, and GPCR functional assays has her primed for understanding and contributing to Aktis’ pharmacological needs. While not in the lab, she enjoys spending time with friends, family, and her cats, volunteering with Independent Animal Rescue, and practicing aerial silks and hand balancing.   👋 Marta Sanchez-Martin, PhD Marta joins us as a Senior Director, Translational Science. She brings translational scientific expertise to support advancement of Aktis’ assets into the clinic by building biomarker strategies and leading reverse translation efforts. She loves travelling the world with family, reading, listening to music, and recently picked up running and bouldering.
