We are thrilled to welcome our customers, collaborators, and friends to a comfortable meeting suite where we can chat in a relaxed atmosphere. To all those affected by the recent layoff at Aktiv Pharma Group, I am thinking about you and hope that you managing to recuperate from the sudden layoff and that you are making headway with new career opportunities. In the last 10+ years we Aktivists have been developing, with and for the US government, a sustainable solution for domestic manufacturing of medical countermeasures in a modernized autoinjector platform.  Our organization, our team, and the technology we created together are considered by many in the US Government, and among our competitors, as leading the field and providing the Government’s best solution. Of that, and the individual contribution of each one of you, we can be proud. We’ve been ramping up our manufacturing here in Colorado to support the needs of our warfighters and all Americans through bolstering the Strategic National Stockpile.  Unfortunately, some of our commercialization planning assumptions were not realized, which has led to these layoffs until conditions change.  I already miss the energy, commotion, and interactions that have made us such a unique and amazing team. I had hoped that our fast growth would not hinder the incredible culture we were building here together, and to my great amazement it only got better. Our fantastic environment was thanks to all of you. It has been your engagement, and commitment, and ability to be such amazing ambassadors of our culture to each new employee. On top of our technological and business success, together we created a work environment that I treasure and plan to maintain. While having fun, we also emphasized safety, diversity and inclusion, and empowered everyone in the organization to be a leader. The remaining team of about 30 misses you already and will work relentlessly to bounce back. The kind words and the encouragement that so many of you have shared in the last few days are a huge inspiration and support. Thank you! Our mission is not completed. There are soldiers, paramedics, and patients that deserve the best life-saving solutions, and no other group can deliver it as well as we can. I hope that one day, our paths will cross again. For now, I wish you all the best of luck in settling in on your new endeavors. Please do not hesitate to reach out.
