Loving this pedestrian bridge in Argentina, which was recently painted by women from the Arriba Mujeres organization. Located in Rosario and known as the Women’s Bridge, it was brightened up as part of an initiative to revitalize public spaces, which included support from the local government. A great way to mark this year’s International Women’s Day – celebrating the newest graduates of our Women in Color automotive training course in Brazil. Eleven women have received 320 hours of training, which included sessions at our Vehicle Refinishes facility in São Bernado do Campo. After leaving the prison system, the 11 graduates have now been empowered with professional skills so they can embrace new job opportunities and rebuild their lives. The biggest just got bigger! This is the Ecological Citizen Giant Rooster – star attraction of the world’s largest street carnival parade in Brazil. Standing 32 meters tall (five more than in previous years) it’s ready to party in Recife after being decorated with around 750 liters of our Coral paint. More than 150 people worked on it for three months. Extension work at our Pamiers aerospace coatings facility in France has got off to a flying start. Six months into the project, two buildings are taking shape as we boost the site’s production and storage capacity. The new warehouse and all its equipment are scheduled for completion in the summer.
