Business related post - honest! I am in the very fortunate position to be able to give back to the #community that I live in, I have chosen a number of different causes that matter to me a great deal, the first being #youthdevelopment. Alcedo Selection Limited has the honour of sponsoring Craven Wanderers under 11's and the newly formed Craven Wanderers under 12 girls. My son has enjoyed playing football since he could walk. When he was 5 I took him down to Burley Trojans, who was managed by(now great friend) Craig Woodhall, he invited me to get involved with the coaching aspect. 5 years and a house move later, I am managing and sponsoring Cravens under 11's which has become nothing short of an addiction. Our super talented team won the Kent Valley cup in 23/24 and while I very much understand that winning is not everything, it was great to see the team get the result that they had worked tirelessly for. Its been a great privilege to see this team develop while being a very close part of my own sons progress. At the same time, it has given me personally enormous pride and an external focus mentally and physically outside of running the business.
