She is golden ✨ She’s our Manager of Operations, Chloe Goldsmith 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 I started in ecommerce and demand planning, mostly working in fashion and accessories before joining Alder. My role is to manage correspondences with our partners to ensure all operations are running smoothly. Everything comes down to being organized and attentive. 𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗮 𝗻𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗹 𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿 A normal day at Alder starts with coffee — and checking emails to make sure everyone is aligned and all systems go. I’ll look through our progress report and have touch bases with different teams to ensure we’re moving & grooving. Mostly, I make my coworkers’ days with my amazing personality ;) 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂’𝗿𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 I’m probably at home with my cat named Benedict. I dabble in guitar and piano, and I love to read (fantasy has a special place in my heart). Right now, I’m reading Throne of Glass!

It’s a new Dawn 🌄 Meet our Manager of Packaging Development, Dawn Kim 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗱𝗶𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄 𝘂𝗽  Seoul, Korea. The Korean peninsula was and remains a unique place to grow up because as you know we are split in two dating back to the Cold War Era. I grew up during a time of war drills in school. Every 15th of the month, a siren would go off, and we had to take cover under our desks, learn how to handle firearms and learn how to apply bandages to wounded soldiers. Now of course, South Korea is in a very different situation where K-pop music and Korean TV shows and movies are making waves. But I consider the experiences of my youth both valuable and unique. 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗿𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆 My prior experience was in the fashion industry, both clothing and shoes, before moving to the packaging industry. My attraction to packaging has to do with its functionality. Every commodity must have a shield of armor of some kind to protect the substance within. The bonus, apart from the functionality, is designing an eye-catching look that tells a story and connects with the consumer. My job is to be a bridge between the beauty brand and the consumer to provide excellent goods and service. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 The resources on Earth are limited, and the only way for us to sustain ourselves, and moreover, for future humankind, is to be responsible. This responsibility should come naturally from our own love for the Earth — and maybe I can help promote that!
