Thank you alice + olivia for the invitation to speak to your team in honor of #hispanicheritage month! Thank you Valerie Miller Williams for the introduction. I was proud to share my story as a “Pioneer of Change”. As a Latina entrepreneur, I didn’t start with business plan and funding. I started, like so many of us, because I was unsafe, and my female colleagues were unsafe. My talk today highlights 3 main themes of my journey— 1. Contrast can lead to clarity: I saw what I didn’t like, and began to build the opposite. There was no model or existing roadmap for me at the time. And, that’s ok. A lot happens when you stop complaining, and make things happen. Less on what you don’t want. More focus on what you DO want. 2. Being a Latina was, and is, my super power! It reminds me of kung fu panda. Po did not look like what a dragon warrior “was supposed” to look like. He did not understand for a long time how or why he was chosen. Just like Po, I didn’t look like any of the entrepreneurs I saw on the cover of magazines growing up. But when I leaned into my Latina indentity, the world opened up for me. 3. Check in w yourself: What do you want to do? Move into that direction with gusto to find more ease in your path. Too hard to think of what you want? Ok, who do you want to serve? My career has always found a way to serve underserved communities, even when I was unclear on what, I always knew “who”. Try it. Also—10/10 is world mental health day and the world is stressed out. Check on your friends. Play more. Rest. And find things that energize you! ❤️ What helped you become a pioneer of change? 🤔

alice + olivia x Tom Wesselmann The Fall 2024 collection from alice + olivia revisits various significant visual art movements: ’60s Pop-Art, ’70s abstract murals, ’80s graffiti art, ’90s photography, a cloud room representing AI, an old master surrealist moss sculpture garden, symbolizing timeless fashion as its own art... all serving to remind us that fashion is truly an art form.   The 1960s artist Tom Wesselmann once said, “the challenge for an artist is always to find your own way of doing something,” a sentiment that resonates with fashion design today. Wesselmann is an iconic artist, coined the Father of Pop Art movement of the ‘60s. His work includes collages and abstract assemblages of everyday objects. As part of the FW24 collection, alice + olivia brings Tom Wesselmann's art to life with a collaboration based on three of his paintings: Limitless, Still Life, and Natural Beauty.

Alice + Olivia Spring Summer 2025 “Hotel of Imagination” New York Runway. Story by RUNWAY MAGAZINE: https://lnkd.in/ed-rTgzQ Alice + Olivia’s Spring Summer 2025 collection is a dazzling testament to Stacey Bendet’s ability to meld whimsy with sophistication. Known for her playful yet polished aesthetic, Bendet has once again redefined contemporary fashion by presenting a collection that takes viewers on a journey through a fantastical world—the “Hotel of Imagination.” This inventive concept envisions a luxurious, dream-like hotel, where each room reflects a different facet of the collection, filled with lush textures, vibrant prints, and unexpected silhouettes. At the heart of this collection are the larger-than-life elements that captivate the senses. Big bows, 3D floral prints reminiscent of delicate porcelain, and bold, oversized polka dots dominate the runway, creating a visual feast that feels both nostalgic and refreshingly modern. The color palette is an exploration of contrasts, ranging from soft pastels to vivid blues, echoing the mood of a garden party that’s both chic and slightly surreal. #Runway #newyorkrunway #NYFW #Flower #AliceandOlivia #StaceyBendet #SpringSummer2025 #RunwayPress #EleonoradeGray #RunwayMagazine RUNWAY MAGAZINE ® alice + olivia stacey bendet

On July 29, we toasted Alice + Olivia x Koketit with a bash in the Hamptons, attended by friends Jenny Mollen, Lisa Perry. Guests came to check out the collaboration and meet Shira Barzilay, the Israeli artist behind #Koketit. The four-piece, limited-edition capsule draws on Barzilay’s signature one-line minimalist drawings, which has gained her nearly 600k followers on Instagram. Barzilay says she uses her work to “celebrate individuality, freedom, and femininity” – making this collaboration is a perfect match!
