🎉 Happy Flashback Friday! 🎉 Guess what? Tomorrow marks 28 amazing years of marriage for my hubby Dana and I! 🥂💍 I thought you'd enjoy a peek back at this 1996 gem. Here are some fun facts you might not know about us: 📚 High School Sweethearts: We were high school rivals—Go BOHS Wildcats! 🐾 And No Mora Sonora! We've got prom and Sadie Hawkins pictures to prove it. 🌴 First Date: One of our first dates was at The Cottage in Laguna Beach, now Urth Caffé on PCH. We love Laguna so much, we decided to get married there at a charming little church—on the hottest day of the year with no A/C! 🔥 It was a sweltering but beautiful day. 👨👩👧👦 Family Life: Fast forward to today, we have 3 amazing kids and 5 grand-cats. We’re still happily rooted in South OC, surrounded by cherished friends and family. 🏢 Our Ventures: Together, we run two wonderful businesses—Align My Practice, where I’m the face and Dana supports behind the scenes, and Carrie's Pilates Saddleback, where Dana oversees the studio and I handle member experience and marketing. Whether we're helping our local community achieve health and wellness or supporting dental practices in their success, we’re passionate about what we do and feel truly blessed to living our life's dream of helping others. 🏕 When we can escape, you’ll find us road-tripping, camping, visiting our kids, scouting out new breweries, and enjoying quality time at our family homes in Lake Havasu, AZ, and Big Bear, CA. with our amazing family and friends. 💖 Happy Anniversary to my love, my best friend, and my greatest supporter. Invest in their development through consultants, leadership conferences, lunch and learns, and team training symposiums. Don’t just tell your team to improve—provide them with the tools and resources they need to meet your expectations. ⚙️ Every role and system in your office should have a detailed SOP or playbook. This ensures that operations continue smoothly, even if someone is absent, and aids in onboarding and accountability. 📈 Utilize the SMART criteria for setting action items or tasks: Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound. Implement daily tasks for each team member to eliminate the need for micromanagement and clarify exactly what's expected of them. 🤝 I cover these strategies extensively in my Office Manager Success course.
