About us
AliveAndKickn’s mission is to improve the lives of individuals and families affected by Lynch syndrome and associated cancers through research, education and screening. Individuals with a Lynch syndrome hereditary cancer genetic mutation have high risks of developing colorectal cancer, endometrial cancer, and various other types of cancers, often at a young age. One in every 279 Americans has Lynch syndrome, as much as 95% of these people are not aware they have it.”

A heartfelt thank you to our sponsors, speakers, and our partner, the Colon Cancer Coalition, for making the Living with Lynch Patient Workshop in Minneapolis a powerful weekend of learning, advocacy, and support. It’s inspiring to see the growth and emotional connections made as patients and caregivers find strength in each other’s experiences. Many participants met someone outside of their own family with Lynch syndrome for the first time, and the bonds they formed are invaluable to our shared mission. #LynchSyndrome #CancerAwareness #Advocacy #LivingwithLynch Merck Exact Sciences ImmunityBio, Inc. Thrilled to see more patients get access to genetic testing! --- The Inter-Organization Cancer Genetics Clinical Evidence Coalition (INTERACT) supports updated NCCN Guidelines®, released on August 8, 2024, that expand access to hereditary cancer genetic testing for colorectal, endometrial, and gastric cancer patients. INTERACT serves as a collective voice in support of evidence-based access to genetic testing for people with or at risk of hereditary cancers and works to drive awareness and inform changes that will equalize access for those whose outcomes could benefit most from genetic testing. Members of the coalition include: AliveAndKickn; Ambry Genetics; FORCE: Facing Our Risk of Cancer Empowered; Illumina; Let's Win Pancreatic Cancer; Myriad Genetics; Natera; Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance ; Quest Diagnostics; and ZERO Prostate Cancer.
