We began our journey with the @MJS Foundation with a shared belief—that education is the key to unlocking potential. From the start, the MJS Foundation has been more than just a supporter; they’ve been a partner in driving change. Their commitment has helped All Star Code reach young men who might otherwise be left behind, offering them the skills and opportunities to thrive in the tech world. The MJS Foundation, a private family foundation based in New York City, is dedicated to advancing education, social services, health care, and scientific research, particularly in diverse communities. Their investments have made significant contributions to organizations that align with these missions, making a profound impact on the lives of those they support. Thanks to the MJS Foundation’s steadfast support, we’ve been able to expand our reach, including their sponsorship of our 2024 Summer Intensive. Their organization has helped our Scholars pursue meaningful careers in technology, breaking barriers and creating new pathways to success. Thank you, MJS Foundation, for standing with us in this mission and for helping us pave the way for the next generation of innovators. #InnovationInEducation #CommunityImpact #TechForAll #MJSFoundation #AllStarCode

All Star Code is deeply grateful to Social Change Fund United (SCFU) for their incredible support of our mission to equip the next generation of innovators. This year, SCFU made history with us by sponsoring our first-ever cohort based in Los Angeles, enabling us to expand our reach and impact in a new region. Founded by Carmelo Anthony, Chris Paul, and Dwyane Wade, SCFU is dedicated to advancing social justice and equity, focusing on critical areas such as economic investment, arts and education, civic engagement, and health equity. Their commitment to fostering positive change in historically underrepresented communities aligns perfectly with All Star Code’s mission. Thanks to SCFU’s generous support, our Los Angeles Scholars participated in an intensive three-week program designed to build their entrepreneurial skills and expose them to careers in technology. The impact of this collaboration is profound, as these young men—who hail from communities often overlooked by the tech industry—gained not only technical knowledge but also the confidence to pursue their dreams and contribute to the tech sector. This partnership has truly enriched the experience for our students, and we look forward to continuing this impactful collaboration. Thank you, Social Change Fund United, for being a catalyst for change and helping us pave the way for the next generation of tech leaders. #AllStarCode #SCFU #SocialChange #FutureTechLeaders #NonprofitImpact

Brigade Capital Management, LP's partnership with All Star Code has been vital in advancing our mission to open doors for young men from underrepresented communities. This summer, we had the privilege of bringing our Scholars to Brigade Capital’s New York office, where they were immersed in an environment that showcased the intersection of finance and technology. Our partnership with Nike has been instrumental in advancing our mission at All Star Code. Together, we've created pathways for young men from underrepresented communities to thrive in the tech industry through initiatives that go beyond traditional education. Nike's ongoing support for our Summer Intensive program has allowed us to offer a curriculum that merges technical skills with entrepreneurial training, empowering our Scholars to innovate and lead. Beyond the Summer Intensive, initiatives like the Digital Kicks Studio have provided our Scholars with unique opportunities to explore the intersection of technology and creativity, particularly in product design and development. This event offered hands-on experiences that helped our students apply their tech skills in real-world contexts, preparing them for success in the rapidly evolving tech landscape. Nike’s impact was further amplified through the Mind the Gap Hackathon, a collaborative event where our Scholars tackled real-world challenges, applying their coding and problem-solving skills to address the digital divide. This hackathon highlighted the importance of tech equity and underscored the value of diverse perspectives in driving innovation. This year, Nike graciously extended their support by inviting our Scholars to the "Path to Progress" event in Washington, D.C. Held in February, this event marked the fourth anniversary of Nike's Black Community Commitment (BCC). The two-day gathering celebrated the achievements of BCC grantees, highlighting the significant strides made in promoting racial equity and social justice. Our Scholars had the unique opportunity to network with industry leaders and participate in meaningful conversations about the future of diversity in technology. Additionally, our Scholars were invited to Nike’s Swoosh Sessions, presented by Nike Virtual Studios, which marked the launch of their innovative new platform. This event, focused on the future of Web3, digital collectibles, and co-creation, provided our Scholars with insights into the cutting edge of digital innovation. We are deeply grateful for Nike's trust-based philanthropic approach, which has empowered us to scale our programs and deepen our impact. Through initiatives like the BCC, Digital Kicks Studio, and the Mind the Gap Hackathon, Nike has shown a profound commitment to not just supporting, but actively shaping, the future of our communities. As we reflect on our journey together, we are inspired by the progress we've made and excited about the future we are building. Thank you, Nike, for being a true partner in this mission. #AllStarCode #DiversityInTech #NonprofitImpact #TrustBasedPhilanthropy
