That’s a wrap! This week team AST attended one of West Virginia's largest gatherings of leaders in business, industry, and politics at the 88th Annual Meeting & Business Summit organized by the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce. The theme for this year, "Uniting Business, Igniting Prosperity," truly captured the spirit of the event, with a sense of excitement in the air about what’s coming. A special moment of this event featured members of the Chamber along with Senator Shelley Moore Capito singing Country Roads paying tribute to Senator Manchin and all he has done for our great state. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house! Thanks to the Chamber and everyone who came together for this year’s Summit.

✏️ As students all over our region head back to school we wanted to do something extra to help support all the amazing teachers that do so much for our kids. While many school systems provide lots of the classroom essentials needed to start the school year, it's often not enough for what teachers need. This #backtoschool season, AST had the opportunity to help fill up the Amazon wish lists of over a dozen teachers our staff nominated as they start their school years! We hope that this can help provide the paper, glue sticks, tissues, or whatever is needed to help all our amazing teachers start the school year right! 🏫

AST’s  Michael Hines and Justin Ross had the opportunity to represent ARCH2 by participating in the “Crafting Excellence: Mastering Machinery Across West Virginia's Industries” event hosted by the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters. The event was a great opportunity to engage with industry leaders to discuss a number of important topics, including the community benefits that ARCH2 is poised to bring to the region and how hydrogen hubs like ARCH2 can create new jobs, enhance local infrastructure, and lead to a more sustainable future for West Virginia and beyond. What a privilege to attend the ARCH2 ribbon cutting ceremony to celebrate the official award announcement for the Appalachian Regional Clean Hydrogen Hub (ARCH2) and the opening of the ARCH2 Program Office! This moment is pivotal in advancing #hydrogen power in #Appalachia, signaling the beginning of a new chapter in #cleanenergy with the potential to reshape our region and influence the future of hydrogen technology on a broader scale. As part of ARCH2's Program Management Office (PMO), AST, in collaboration with Battelle, GTI Energy, TRC Companies, Inc., and the National Energy Technology Laboratory (NETL), is proud to contribute to this transformative journey. The United States Hydrogen Alliance (USHA) Hydrogen Policy Leaders Convention brings together Hydrogen Alliance members, hydrogen companies, and local, state, and federal policymakers from across the country. Last week, our team had the honor of attending and speaking at this pivotal event, addressing topics and conversations at the intersection of policy and industry.
