The recent ribbon cutting at 37 West Apartments celebrated the opening of an impactful project – a new parking garage – in the bustling Blackstone Neighborhood! Greenslate Development and Clarity Development have addressed the growing need for parking in the neighborhood, adding 400 parking spaces for the community and apartment residents. The large-scale graphic on the north façade of the parking garage, designed by our environmental graphics team, adds a pop of color and a sense of movement to the urban landscape! Congrats to our design partners, GreenSlate Development, Clarity Development, The City of Omaha, and Hausmann Construction.

“The Millwork Commons area of north downtown was a cool vibe and good eats.” Yes, it does! APMA has had the privilege of partnering with Paul G. Smith Associates and Bluestone Development in multiple capacities within Millwork —from master planning and park design to architecture and interiors. We couldn’t be more proud of the work happening within our neighborhood. Read on to learn of the upcoming developments.

Following a building addition and renovation project, Marian High School engaged our experiential graphic design team to focus on the school corridors and further enhance the school environment. Our team designed eleven supergraphics that are strategically placed along corridors and stairwells to visually unite the original and newly renovated areas of the building. These high-impact graphics use vivid icons to represent Marian's six core values, and powerful messages articulate the Spirit of Marian. Driven by their vision to create a world-class learning environment, Brownell Talbot School enlisted our help to draft a campus-wide master plan for their 12-acre campus nestled within Omaha’s historic Dundee neighborhood. We assessed their current facilities and gathered feedback from faculty, staff, students, and families. The in-depth report allowed the school to prioritize phasing of projects. Bownell Talbot has broken ground on a new welcome atrium, Lower School, expanded dining, collaboration spaces, and gymnasium. The new learning environment is designed specifically to align with their pedagogies. Completed construction is planned for early 2026. We recently helped our clients at Brownell Talbot School celebrate a big milestone, the ground breaking of their construction project underway! More details to come regarding the new addition. With 15 different unit types, covered parking and surface parking options, amenities like lounge spaces, community kitchenettes, meeting rooms, dog wash, business space, fitness room and cardio room, sky lounge, pool and exterior courtyard space, this is going to lease up fast!
