We love this from Heather Murray - great useful and practical advice..,,
I'm sick of seeing bad quality prompts Here are 7 PROPER prompts (for marketers) I don't like to moan, but almost every day I see carousels and articles packed with bad prompts. They look a bit like this: "Create 5 LinkedIn post ideas on the topic of generative AI for lawyers" Bad prompts: ❌ Are short, and quick to write ❌ Look a bit like a Google search ❌ Contain no detail or context They produce boring, predictable and useless results. Proper prompts: ✔ Use characters to set the scene ✔ Contain plenty of context and detail ✔ Are clearly written in a way LLMs understand They produce genuinely useful results and save huge amounts of time. The thing is, writing proper prompts takes quite a lot of upfront time investment. So, I've written 7 proper prompts for marketers: 1. Build Your Persona 2. Content Strategy and Calendar Generator 3. Plan an Event to Launch a New Service 4. Brand Voice Alignment Checker 5. Expert Marketing Campaign Review 6. Strategic Marketing Audit and Revitalisation Plan 7. Client Simulation for Marketing Strategy Testing Please read the below instructions before you start using them. Prompt: Copy/paste the prompt and fill in any square brackets to begin. I strongly urge you to cut bits out, add bits in, play around with it and make it your own. Prompts are personal. Required Docs: These are attachments you need to add for the prompt to work properly. (⚠ Warning: don't upload sensitive info into the free versions of ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc. Anonymise it first.) Bonus Docs: These docs aren't necessary to attach for the prompt to work, but you'll get an even stronger response if you do. Happy prompting! 💬 Let me know if you'd like a DM version ♻ Found it useful? Re-share with your network
