Search for Common Ground is relaunching the SHE WINS Rapid Response Fund (a global WPS fund), with new funds for 78 countries. They are excited to announce that we are relaunching this year (2024) with new funds for 78 countries! Applicants can choose between three grant categories to apply for in-kind support up to $24K, small-medium grants between $25K and $100K, and large grants up to $250K. The review panel consists of Search for Common Ground staff and State Dept S/GWI staff and meets monthly to review applications received on a rolling basis. The call for proposals is available in five languages: Arabic, Spanish, Russian, English, and French. 🌟 We are #hiring! We are seeking a Senior Manager, Membership, Events and Operations! The Senior Manager is responsible for assisting in the recruitment of new members, working closely with AfP team members and retaining existing members, including the collection of dues. The individual in this position is also primarily responsible for the independent management of logistics related to events throughout the year, including AfP’s flagship annual event, PeaceCon. The Senior Manager will also ensure the smooth functioning of office administration, including technology support and information management. The occupant of the post will be an operations and administrative expert who remains well-informed of all team activities and ensures they are seamlessly and efficiently supported. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of successful, progressively senior administration and operations management experience in a fast-paced, flat, non-profit, or dynamic commercial organization. They will have demonstrated the capability to deliver excellent results with minimal supervision and the ability to anticipate and independently solve problems as they arise. In addition, they will possess a strong facility with MS Office applications and experience with MailChimp and JoinIt or the ability to acquire working expertise quickly. Additionally, they must be able to work and self-direct independently and work cohesively as part of a team.
