It’s a beautiful day to do some good! The Alliance team is delighted to give the Green Lake Area Animal Shelter a new Speed Queen washer and dryer. The shelter does multiple loads of towels and animal beds every day and they need laundry equipment that’s up to the challenge! Thanks for all you do for the community GLAAS!

October is Manufacturing Month! The global Alliance Laundry Systems team is taking steps to ensure our manufacturing locations have an environmentally responsible, sustainable future. Our team in Pribor, Czech Republic has transitioned to electric vehicles and plug-in hybrid cars. Most recently, our Aftersales Service Technicians purchased three new Škoda Superb plug-in hybrid cars.  

October is Manufacturing Month! Alliance Laundry Systems is not only creating amazing opportunities today, but we’re planning for a strong, sustainable future. It takes a lot of water to test our washing machines and we work hard to capture and reuse as much of it as we can. 80% of the water used in our US research and testing labs is recycled. Just this year, we installed a new water recycling system in our washer production area. It's saved more than 2.6 million gallons of water since February!

Did you know that our Thailand facility generates 36% and our Pribor facility generates 22% of their electricity from solar panels? It’s just one of the many ways we are weaving sustainability into our daily operations and ensuring a bright future for manufacturing.

Alliance Laundry Cares is very proud to support various Habitat for Humanity chapters with donations of new Speed Queen washers and dryers. Our most recent donation went to Habitat for Humanity Serving Green Lake, Marquette and Waushara Counties. This build is in Wautoma. Habitat helps those who can’t afford to purchase their own home “earn” a home through sweat equity. Habitat also provides financial education for new home owners. A very special shout out to our new friends at “The Port” in Manitowoc. The Port is a newly-opened recovery residence for moms and their children, and Alliance Laundry Cares just gifted them a new Speed Queen washer and dryer. We hope the new laundry equipment makes the residence feel a little more like home for these families. The Port is part of the Lighthouse Recovery Community Center - Manitowoc, which provides access to resources, education and recovery support services in a safe and social space.
