The Taxpayer and her CPA wrote numerous letters to the IRS and Taxpayer advocate, but the IRS refused to move the $200k in funds to the correct account and put a hold on her passport just before a crucial overseas business trip. alliantNational made emergency contact with the IRS Independent Office of Appeals and had the passport hold promptly released. aN’s work in the Appeals Conference resulted in the movement of the $200k payment to the correct account and the removal of $250k in penalties.
