Being diligent and caring for your customers is key to word of mouth based advertisements, not to mention repeat customers. Quality workmanship is only half of the presentation. It must be a good experience as well. The is where the process comes in. While it's true that not every customer is desirable to work with, there must be a goal to see every project, small or large, to the finish line and according to the standards set for both quality and experience. Communication, customer care, and a steady pace of progress, all positively contribute to that experience. Remember, your clients are spending their money and they want to "feel" they are getting real value for doing so.
