Sustainable fashion is falling by the wayside. The rise of Chinese-owned fast fashion brands, like global powerhouses Temu and Shein, has damaged sustainable clothing companies. While both companies offer affordable products, Temu and Shein are linked to human rights violations and poor equability practices. According to a report from fashion watchdog Remake, Shein scored a 6 out of a possible 150 points. Temu scored zero. But what can consumers do to avoid fast fashion?
