Members of Allwyn North America’s senior leadership team attended the Allwyn company summit last month. #WinningTogether is a major value at Allwyn and was the theme of this year’s summit. As the operating partner of the Illinois Lottery, Allwyn North America is honored to see the Lottery celebrating the legacy that is “Zeke” Giorgi, “Father of the Lottery.”
Yesterday we dedicated our Illinois Lottery Springfield Headquarters and Prize Center to the legendary State Representative Edolo J. "Zeke" Giorgi, Father of the Lottery.' We were honored to have State Representative Dave Vella, grandson to Giorgi, and State Representative Maurice A. West II who represents some of Giorgi's former district, to share stories and remember the 'Father of the Lottery'. It's also fitting to remember how the Lottery came to be as we continue to celebrate our 50th anniversary.
