Happy Friday! Designing your dream home just got a futuristic upgrade! With AI, you can effortlessly see inspiration come to life in real-time. The pros? Speed, innovation, and endless possibilities. The cons? AI will miss the personal touch and nuanced details that a human designer brings, AND it can be misleading. While we embrace the power of AI, it’s crucial to proceed with caution—ESPECIALLY if you are someone who is looking to hire a builder or designer. With AI, someone with no actual experience can create a photo like the image above in less than 60 seconds, and a lot of them look SUPER realistic. So if you find someone online who has a beautiful “portfolio,” as a consumer, make sure you’re doing your research. Check if accounts credit AI use (a lot of people don’t), because there's a big difference between a builder or an interior designer that has years of experience and occasionally shares an AI image for inspiration, and someone whose portfolio is exclusively made up of AI generated content. Just because someone can create a beautiful AI image doesn’t mean they are qualified to build your home, or they may not understand everything that goes into interior design selections. So just make sure you’re checking references so you know what you’re getting! To give this kitchen island a unique touch, we extended the end panels to align perfectly with the counter overhang and raised the island height by 2 inches for added comfort while cooking. We also added thoughtful cabinet features like a pullout utensil holder and a pullout cookie sheet organizer to keep everything neat and accessible. This kitchen is truly a chef's dream come true! Who knew sharing a bathroom could be this glamorous? We absolutely adore designing Jack & Jill bathrooms with separate vanity spaces, ensuring there's zero fuss over whose space is whose! Each kiddo gets their own designated area, while the stylishly integrated shower and toilet keep everything seamlessly connected. It’s the perfect blend of private indulgence and shared convenience! We especially adore how all the selections came together. While the bathroom stays neutral, we still managed to sprinkle in pops of details such as the fun, brass sconces and the custom cabinet drawers!

Absolutely loving these bathroom shots from one of our recently completed homes in Mound, MN! The primary bathroom ensuite features a stunning blue shower tile that truly stands out, while the bold wallpaper in the main level powder room adds a striking touch of character. Upstairs in the Jack & Jill bathroom, we chose a light green shade for the cabinets, and it looks fantastic. Plus, the striking black tile shower in the lower level bathroom perfectly complements the sleek black countertop. Everything came together beautifully!
